Dr. Nemesis, also known as Dr. James Bradley, is a Marvel Comics character. A brilliant scientist with a penchant for eugenics, he often occupies a morally ambiguous space, sometimes acting as a hero and other times an antagonist.
His first appearance was in Marvel Mystery Comics #8 (June 1940) during the Golden Age of comics. Nemesis is known for his advanced scientific knowledge, self-experimentation, and heightened intellect. He also possesses limited telepathic abilities.
Driven by a desire to improve humanity's genetic stock, his methods are often extreme and ethically questionable, putting him at odds with traditional superheroes. He has been associated with various groups, including the X-Men, and has even served on teams like the X-Club.
